Yom HaZikaron: Moment of Silence throughout Israel

Today, all over Israel, people will stand silently at the sound of the siren. The sound marks a moment to remember terror victims and the 23,169 soldiers who have fallen since Israel’s creation. At that moment, Israelis will stop what they are doing, wherever they are, and stand at attention to honor those we have lost.
